Drank over three days with the third one the most interesting. The wine developed a slightly spicy aspect with the Bosc pear character. Quite understated for DuMol, but very delicious.

Very nice wine, but it's not a competitor to the French versions of viognier. A bit on the sweeter side, but not sweet. Very well made with not defects or off flavors.

Pop and pour. In the glass, very pale yellow, almost clear. On the nose, honeysuckle, lemon, and rubber (really!) On the palate, an abundance of peach and lemon, with a secondary smoky wood note, and a faint hint of asphalt popping up here and there. This could probably hang on in the cellar for another year or two, but why wait?

Drank over several days with the last one being the best in that it actually tasted like an excellent Viognier instead of a pleasant, nondescript bland white wine. All else reflected DuMol's excellence and the characteristics of previous vintages.

The 2018 DuMOL Wild Mountainside is the single best Viognier I have ever had. Featuring a rich bouquet of peaches, apricots, oranges, and white flowers. This is a big, bold Viognier with bright flavors that really pop. Long, warm finish that lasts forever. Truly outstanding. Drink over the next 10 years.
