Appearance: Extremely light, almost entirely transparant. Medium-plus fast legs, like 13.5% by volume. A very slow transition towards the rim. Rim is light and pink.
Nose: Strong cherries and roses. Beautiful nose with quince and typical new world notes. Slight oak to it, but very hard to distinguish any specific tertiary notes. The nose reminds me of something sweet like port or sherry, but even sweeter.
Palate: Dry, light-body, notes of fruit and some earthiness. The balance of the wine is a bit off, not ruined or bad, but could be better. The acidity was a little too strong. There is also a little bit of a smokiness to the wine.
Overall: 79 pointer. Oak is very difficult to distinguish but it is there. So I can't really say it was one-dimensional but it's close. The slight imbalance takes away from it too, but it was quite enjoyable overall. Esspecially at 12 CAD a bottle.

Smells of barrel only. Vanilla and vanilla. Oh, and did I mention vanilla? Also wood fire, chocolate and some dill. This is how Santa’s workshop would smell if it caught fire.
The taste is - again - mainly just Barrel. Slight cherry on the finish. Sweet and jammy.
This is very very mediocre wine trying to hide behind elaborate barrel aging.
If you like classic wine, then stay away from this.

Overly oaked. Hardly any structure and very fruit forward. Little to no acidity. Very perfumed as well. A full frontal barrage of overripe red fruit. A cloying, monotonous and lousy one dimensional wine. Plenty of manipulation here. Would not try again.

Lidt for sød. 11/20 Overall: god, letdrikkelig vin, men en kende for sød. 6/10 85

This is a wine that tastes entirely artificial. Light in colour but I couldn't get any varietal pinot aromas, anything that might have existed is completely hidden behind caramel and vanilla. The palate is smooth with little to no tannin and the caramel flavours come through. Then the finish is like a whack of vanilla extract. It's the Yellow Tail of California I'm afraid. I don't know what yield they produce this pinot at but it's a shocker of a wine. There are plenty of positive reviews but this (wine snob though I may sound) is not a serious wine. It's a mass-market 'creation' and for £14 in the UK you can find pinot that is much more true to its origin and variety. This smelt and tasted like a wine that could have some from anywhere.

Someone else's review said "jammy, sweet, vanilla." I really don't have much else to add. Very mild acidity and minerality, low tannins, balance was fine. Pretty neutral.

Ripe and deep spicy red cherry flavours with a creamy texture which adds to its enveloping, weighty presence. Not my style of Pinot but well made and enjoyable nonetheless.

My wife bought this because the label looked nice. Sad to report that the label was the best part. Mediocre at best. Color was rusty and brownish - not the brightness you would expect in a California Pinot. Nose was musty. Palate was too sour with some grapefruit and kiwi. Mouthfeel was watery. Doesn’t seem like it will age well either.

Very prevelent display of AVB (13.5%) on both labels. Wonder if this is a statement? Highly perfumed, very soft, lush tannins. A unique wine to say the least. Very little in terms of flaws but very artificial in structure. This may be a style some like as a drinking wine. This is definately not a food wine.

Easy drinking wine with very bold flavours. You know what you’re getting into and it’s full on heavy red fruit and strawberry jam.

Bogo deal in Publix.
Horrid. Serve it to people who like their wine to taste like Coca Cola. Actually, Coca Cola is better.
