Drunk in a restaurant with no formal notes taken, this was an excellent wine punching above its price tag. Honeyed with lemon and floral notes and an underlying saltiness, this managed to successfully combine with spicy Nepalese food without being overwhelmed. In fact, I find that Alberino wines seem to accompany Indian/Sub Continent cuisine perfectly as an alternative to beer.

Lovely, mellow Albarino. Softer than some. More warm weather and tropical. But lots going on - minerality, a diversity of fruit nuances, a distinct saltiness. Good start,, Good finush. Very pleasant.

90/91. This is very smooth with nice aromas of granite infused stonefruits, honey, veggie hints and lemons and salt. Its medium bodied linear yet nicely freshly fruited concentrated lightly salty, granite infused stonefruits and tropical fruits palate has lovely freshness and good salty unfruity length. 13%. Excellent value at 9 Euros.

Great Quality Albariño I disagree with many of the tasting notes here and hope I can offer a more professional everyday wine drinkers insight!
Sight: medium staw with pale gold reflection and a tint of green surprisingly might be the limes around the dinner table though haha
Nose: Beautiful Bouquet of white orchid flowers, lychees, and even some white peach/ Pineapple followed by some Yellow apple, starfruit and big ripe lemon leading the yellow and tropical fruit laden aromas.
Taste: Refrshing palate like breathing beach air this wine has ripe tropical yellow fruit and medium + acidity from the lemon and those delicious yellow apples on the palate. The body is also quite nice the Lee’s ageing here keeps the wine a light-medium drinker that rolls on the touge with ease.
OVERALL: I noticed many green apple notes here but I believe thats inaccurate ( although subjective ) you can’t have a yellow tropical citrus in a warm climate then a green apple note doesn’t line up? I think the Acid is from the lemon and there is a ripe yellow apple note not green. Anyhow this is a delicious Albariño and find it hard to dislike great nose and wonderful freshness from a warm climate mostly everyone can this enjoy !

This wine is a great reflection on how how tasty and refreshing Albariño can be
Sight: Medium straw with hints of green
Nose: Yellow tropical fruits, a hint of orchard fruits, and green apple
Palate: It very refreshing on the palate with lots of yellow tropical fruits, a hint of green apple, and balanced acidity. Powdery and chalky minerality is easily reflected almost like fresh stone.
Overall: The bottle was delicious and worth the extra couple dollars you might spend on an Albariño. Incredibly refreshing and easy to pair with a large variety of foods.

On the nose, green apple candies -reminiscent of jolly ranchers- jump out of the glass. This fruity wine also includes peaches, unripe and crisp pears and grapefruits. It is also mineral and salty, with a hint of straw and herbs. The palate confirms the nose. Extremely refreshing, crisp and zesty wine, with plenty of acidity and a pleasant bitterness on the finish.
Eyes closed, it's easy to imagine yourself in a seaside orchard, sunbathing on a bed of herbs, with a chill and dusty wind blowing around.

Mineral at first, then the balanced sweet/sour of the fruit. More effervescent/acidic when colder, more mellow/smooth when approaching room temp. Enjoyed both facets. Went well with both grilled branzino and sautéed salmon.

Nose The wine is youthful exhibiting medium primary aromas of lemon, lime, green pear, chopped parsley, green apple, and white peach.
Palate The wine is dry with a light body, high acid, medium alcohol, exhibiting primary flavors of lemon, lime, pear, fresh herbs, white peach, and sweet tart candy with a medium finish.
Conclusion The quality of this wine is good. Drink up now! Great with light, clean seafoods. Life and wine are good!

No detailed review on this bottle, but it was delightful and went great with cheese and charcuterie while we cooked Christmas dinner. What struck me as great with it was how it evolved with time, got better as it warmed up, and never got off notes as it warmed up. So glad I have more of these and will do a more detailed review on the next bottle.

The wine looks straw colored. The legs are medium. It smells like grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach blossom and honeysuckle. It tastes like grapefruit, lemon, lime, pear, mineral, peach blossom, honeysuckle and almond. The body is light/medium. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
Lively and fresh on the front-palate, lovely mid-notes. A hint of salinity, perhaps imagined. When fridge cold most of the finish dropped off quickly, with some light notes lingering. As it warmed, the finish lasted longer, with almond and floral notes.

Produced from a CO-OP of 400 member located in the Val Do Salnes region, this has a distinctively lighter palate of fresh lime zest, grapefruit and slice of nectarine. Very nimble and refreshing, I felt this lacked true personality and I just kept going back hoping to get a little more, but no. The finish was quite short

Tasted blind. Clear med lemon with a green hue. Med (+), youthful nose of tart citrus and barely ripe stone and tropical fruit. Moderate floral aromatics. No oak. Dry, with med (+) to high acidity, med alcohol. The palate has more lime, tart fruit and minerality than the nose. Med body, med (+) flavor intensity and length, with slight phenolic bitterness and salinity on the finish. Really delicious in its youthful freshness. Drink now, not likely to improve with further aging. Old World, cool climate, 1-2 years old. Possible candidate include albariño, gruner veltliner, but the acidity, saline edge and lack of vegetal notes point to the former.
