Found another in the cellar I did not catalog in CellarTracker. Medium to full body, dark purple. This is a Pinot I can sink my teeth into. Strawberry, dark cherry, spices. I like this.

Solid Pinot. A good quality Central Coast Pinot, albeit a little typical. Round leans towards medium to full body, more nuanced that the bigger pinots. Exceeded my expectations.

Judy Blue's Over the River & Through the Old Wines Event (Judith's House, WI): Medium red color. PNP, drank 1 glass over 40 minutes. On the nose, cherry, currants, spices - the fruit becomes more bold and forward over 20 minutes. The palate shows raspberry, spiced cherry, and some alcohol. Not bad, but suffers from from the heat. 87+pts.

Has a little bit of that typical Santa Maria Pinot Noir funk that I enjoy. Medium body Pinot. A little bit of acidity. Well rounded. Overall, I enjoyed this Pinot and picked up a couple more. For me, this drinks like a $35 pinot. At $45 (retail), I wouldn't pull the trigger.
If I'm not mistaken, this is closer to Byron's Black Label entry level (which doesn't mean low quality, mind you).

Still trying to get into California Pinot. This one was really pleasing; pretty earthy and soil-y on the nose but still fruity with a nice punch of acidity.
I tasted cranberry skins and red cherry but also darker stuff like wet earth and bold spices.
I came back to it a day later and I was getting baker's cocoa and the same wet earthiness.
Pretty good stuff!

A charming Pinot made in a modern yet elegant style that drinks well above its price point. Medium red in color, medium in body, perfumed nose of candied walnuts and rosemary. Pretty tastes of red raspberry, sour cherry, dried strawberry, and herbs, with a finish that tastes like a Pinot should (i.e., a little sour, a little sweet, a pleasant lift, and a lingering taste). 14.5% alcohol. There is oak and ripeness here, to be sure, but they are balanced well with an acidity and lightness that - at this price point especially - is quite impressive. Drink in next year or two. Still going strong on second day.

I tasted this back in March when I visited Byron's tasting room in Los Olivos. My apologies for not providing a full tasting note, but all I can say is...green pepper! I ended up buying a bottle and it's sitting quiet in my small cellar for a few years. You will not be disappointed with this high quality producer. One of the best producers in the Santa Maria Valley!

Ruby red, translucent with a watery rim. Very ripe cherries and plum on the nose. The same on the palate with some herbal, slightly medicinal qualities on the back end. Light bodied, low tannins. Really enjoyed, absolutely loved for the price.

Fruit at the front but enough backbone to stand up to a hearty tomato based spaghetti dish.

Fruity and a bit more bang than you would expect for a Pinot. Warm style with berries and spices.
