Glorious. Consistent with my last note from 2021, other than the tropical thing…blessedly. Medium-minus gold color. Expressive nose, caramel, pear, citrus, dash of oak. Palate notable acidity, racy, with white stone fruit, another dash of oak. Finish on and on and on. Juicy, but bit of creaminess after an hour. Front to back of palate, mouth coating, very clean. Wish I had more. Got this early-on for $54, I think this is third of three. Feeling like I caught it at a peak level.

Fantastic Bourgogne. 2 for 2 with this and Roulot. Such a wonderful salinity, pear, lime, mineral medium minus mouthfeel that all work together for a wonderful wine experience. Really enjoyed- wife preferred the roulot.

Orange and cream notes. Caramel and passion fruit. It was reserved at first and really burst out of the glass after 2 hours. In the mouth it has crisp apple flavors. Paired well with an orange glazed smoked duck.

Wow...a complete surprise how excellent this white burgundy is drinking. Rich lemon and citrus fruit flavors with a finish of apple and tangerine. Complex with a long finish that lingers on the palate with great creamy flavors. Glad I have more of this.

Age is helping this wine. I was less than enthusiastic about my first three bottles of it. Still on the upswing for sure. Be sure to give it a 1+ hour decant.

Slight reductive nose with apples, pear, and stone fruit. Palate with aromas of orchard fruit, ripe apples, apple tart, vanilla, and apple butter. Long finish with great balance of acidity and fruit, showing a good amount of complexity and being very easy to drink PnP. Lovely wine!

Fourth time trying this over three years, and I remain confused by the high scores many others give this wine. This time, I tested it both over several hours on night one and finished the next night. I'm grateful to be able to try and share Leroy at such an approachable price point, but I would still rate this bottle overpriced for its quality.
Similar to prior, though this bottle actually seemed a bit more advanced in age and didn't quite have the freshness of the first. The tropicality seemed to stay.

My my, this was gorgeous! Wish I could have this as my everyday wine! Nicely balanced, one taster commented on tropical flavors...maybe a little, but I'm not a fan of the pineapple/mango profile and I loved this wine! Drinking well and should get better.

First taste of the '19s; this is quite delicious. On first opening and pouring it has a bit of tropical pineapple and papaya, however this pretty quickly turns into a background note with fresher orchard fruits of peach and red apple, floral and a hint of minerality. The palate is very fresh and has good acidity; the fruit with just a touch of exoticism. The finish is quite nice and quite long for a regional wine. Very good for the level and with upside for the cellar.

It's not bad but a bit young for my taste. Did not even slightly go with roast chicken and corn - there's something in there with the reduction and whatever flavor makes you salivate that makes this more of a wine to intellectualize than actually enjoy at this moment. Curious how it ages.

This is an absolutely delicious Chardonnay! Despite being young this wine did not disappoint. Very nice, crisp, and smooth with an abundance of fruit and minerality on the nose and palate. Thankfully I have 5 more bottles ...

In Vino Veritas (in wine there is truth; people speak the truth when they are drunk), bottle #122 of my cellar sacrifices. A 2019 white burgundy from my favorite French producer, Domain Leroy, run by Lalou BIZE-LEROY (“Guardian of Great Wines”), a super-hero when it comes to wine. Dry and crisp, this went great with the fish we grilled out this weekend. I’m sure glad I have more! 🍷🍷 🍷👍 👍👍#wine #winelover #winelovers #redblend #redblendwine #leroy #frenchwine #burgundy #frenchwines #frenchwinelover #whiteburgundy #maisonleroy

Admittedly young at this point. Definitely needs some time to open up. Currently not much depth with a citrus punch. A slight mineral on day two but not enough to call it balanced. I’ll give it a year or two plus before opening the next one.

Tight nose (or maybe, probably, just me). Structured, refined with a touch of grassiness and honey on mouth. Good acidity on the back end. Added some weight on day two. Can you say refined? Yes you can.

Much more approachable right now than I'd assumed. A very focused wine with nice energy. Crushed stone, melon, lemon notes and a little bit of honey. It’ll probably be better in a year or two, but this is a top notch village level white burgundy – if you can find it for a decent price.

Just received 2 cases and on first glass began to wonder if I should hit reorder. Crystal clear medium yellow gold. Having dwindling supplies of whites in the cellar I have been restocking concentrating on bourgogne level wines in burgundy. This ‘19 stands out for its level of ripeness as the color suggests. Ready pure steely aromas of lemony golden apples and peach and even of sweet ripe pineapple. Tropical sweetness on palate - amply tart keeping aromas as flavors in sharp long focus. Nice faint bitter close begs the drinker back to the glass. Oak may bring a little vanillin along but otherwise difficult to find. Expensive for a bb - of course paying for name in part but there is deft winemaking at play as say w Leflaive where you have to spring for the name but in my experience you get a glimpse of the expertise for that outlay.

Drank ~2 hours after opening.
Clean tropical fruits and fresh citrus rind followed by a gentle, slightly creamy finish. A very friendly wine at a somewhat unfriendly price.
