Not as enamored as the others, perhaps an off bottle? The merlot tasted pretty similar to its price point. Fruit was muted and a bit heavy on the oak due to the fruit not showing up. Will have to try another bottle to make a more accurate assessment.

Just a marvelous Rutherford Merlot with a nose of plumb and cedar. Medium in body and acidity, this wine is magically blended and surprisingly complex on the palet. Flavors of lavender, chocolate, and tobacco with a distinct minerality that is synonymous with the region.

Supremely classic red cherry, crushed tobacco, shaved chocolate and bell pepper. This is a lighter bodied and low abv (13.3%) merlot that tastes like it it right out of the 70s. If you like em old school this is your wine.

Out of 375. Red fruit on the nose and palate. Some dusty stone notes on the nose. Great old world-style with no over-extraction. At this stage, I actually preferred this over the '18 cab.

Pure bright Merlot Fruit. Better the 2nd day. High acid, could age another 5 - 8 years. Well made wine.

Absolutely superb Napa Merlot. It hits all the right notes, especially for being super-young.
