A great nose of smoky mineral, white mushroom and citrus. It is rich and unctuous in the mouth but also light on its feet. There's so much saline goodness and pulpy citrus fruits a plenty. It has good drive and decent cut and is long and clean. Drinking beautifully.

Good pale yellow. Scents of sea breeze, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, and powdery, musky stone - slightly lactic. Mouth impression is very dry - palate is awash in dry extract. Viscosity says 2005; acid suggests otherwise. Medium-long finish. A little lactic, but quite refreshing.

Speaks of its origins very well and would be very easy to pick in a blind line-up. All quite subtle with wet wool tones, faint caramalised onion and a milky fruit character. Light bodied and not particularly intense, and I would say this relatively well developed. Drink now to 2012. I wonder if this should have cellared better?

A bit of a let down - marred on nose and palate by heavy leesy, milky characters. Lacked the freshness expected of a true chablis. This has developed much faster than I expected. Drink up. Disappointing

very good chablis if not among the top. Descrete nose. Minerals with some fruit, apricot?Taste more pronounced. Honey, flint. Alltogether an elegant a bit understated, nicely balanced wine. Great with salad nicoise

I think perhaps I'm slowly coming round to this strong damp taste that is what I presume is meant when people say that chablis tastes of oyster shells. Still reminds me of the sulphur one can get on dry white bordeaux, but hey, this was powerful and direct and really rather impressive.

Nice minerality. Seemed to show a little oak (though I am not sure if there is any oak in this wine) Good as it warmed a little and with the crab cakes. Better than the last bottle and should continue to improve.

I made French onion soup with this wine, and it was delicious. Was probably better than merely cooking--but that was what I bought this wine for. I recall some good fruit and mineral flavors. And the soup was just delicious!

Still bright, lively. Plenty of acid and minerals, a hint of apricot and citrus. Hard to believe it is 14 years old

Intense oyster shell, cobwebs and sickly chardonnay fruit - Jane liked this but I tonight I thought it rather horrid

Very enjoyable. Served before and with appetizers - enjoyed by all. Showed much better than in the summer tasting.

Nice, crisp, clean, but aromatically challenged.

With sushi. A little tight but crisp and enjoyable. Should get better but will probably never achieve 1er quality -- but for $18 a nice wine.
