Served by the glass on my United flight from Frankfurt to Houston. Deep dark magenta color. Red apple core, blueberry jam, and brown sugar. Smooth, dry, fullish bodied. Full, lower intensity tannins on the longish finish.
This is an easy drinker and just a touch extracted. Drinking at altitude likely diminishes my perception of the wine. Could be slightly better at or near sea level.
Had several glasses of this at a corporate event so no detailed notes, but this was approachable and enjoyable as a pnp. Balanced with pleasant dark fruit and enough structure to last late into this decade.

Blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec, and 1% Petit Verdot. Rich and elegant, the fragrant, medium-high intensity nose delivers lush, complex, ripe, dark fruited, blackberry, black and red currant, fine oak spices, grilled herb, and earth aromas with touches of boysenberry and floral. It's full-bodied with ripe black and red currant, cassis, blackberry, savoury oak spice, earth, peppery spice, grilled herb flavours surrounding a savoury core. It's framed by fresh, juicy acidity and elegant, yet firmly structured, fine-grained tannins. It's a touch palate warming, but still balanced. Savoury and earthy with graphite notes linger on the exceptionally long finish. Provides immense pleasure now, but will reward cellaring.
Gorgeous Bordeaux blend from CA! Cab, Merlot, Cab Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. Deep mystery in the color. Black cherry, blackberry, cedar, anise, and brown sugar on the nose. Palate is amazingly smooth. Not overly grippy. Black fruit, a touch of smoke and a warm, lingering finish.

Still a little young, but it should improve in a year or two. (If you like this wine, Yianni's in Viriginia Beach has it for $59.99. Free shipping if you buy four bottles.)

This is young but showing its hand a little. Nice fruit quickly followed by secondary flavors of pencil shaving, oak spices and tiny amounts of smoke. As this matures in the bottle it should improve but ti will not be like the 1996 Cinq Cépages we tasted side by side with this.

Good color, clear. Mouth feel was good, full body with light tannins. Cherry other berries in the middle combined with some smoke at the end. Nice wine, easy to like and can get better. For what I paid it was good but I hope it becomes more Complex in a year or so.

I agree with the other reviewer. Seems too young at this point even with an hour plus opening. Tasted this blind with 5 other CA Cab/Cab blends. Middle of the pack for me, but top for 2 others in our group. Needs more time to soften the tannins and drive out more aromas. Hold for 3-5 before trying again.

Same score and notes as in 2022. Paired with a bone-in filet and it was perfect. A very nice bottle of wine.

Excellent wine that probably would have benefitted from a longer decant. Next bottle 2024+ or 90 minute + decant
