Nose of black cherry, red cherry, roasted mocha-java coffee, and forest floor, same on the palate, big body, elegant, mouth filling fruit, silky, smooth, supple tasting, slightly tired but enough life to make you wish for more Cabernets Sauvignon like this one, and a long, flavorful finish.

Nose of black cherry, black berry, floral notes, hint of mushroom, and roasted coffee, same on the palate, big body, elegant, mouth filling fruit, soft and silky tasting, almost creamy texture on the mid palate, delicious, great secondary flavors, still will last another 5 years, best to enjoy now if you are lucky enough to cellar it, and a long, long, flavorful finish and aftertaste. Uploaded photo.
Cork was 25% saturated and split in two, lots of sediment coated the bottle-see photo I uploaded. Nose of black cheery, black berry, black currants, sage, allspice, floral notes, and dusty earth, same on the palate, big body, at its peak, elegant, mouth filling fruit, rich fruit, concentrated and intense fruit, mouth watering like a warmed piece of pecan pie, layers of complexity made you sip and savor, this was the best $36 auction bottle I ever bought, and a long, long, flavorful finish and aftertaste.

Great wine. Popped and poured. This time I had others to corroborate my opinion. Very similar to the previous bottle, but others commented on the mocha and cocoa that I missed the first time around.

Auction purchase. What a great bottle of wine! Deep dark red. Some crystals on the cork and in the neck, but I let that slide. Full of juicy red fruit on the nose and palate, but not fruity (a quality of which I am not fond). Lots of ripe, sweet red cherries. I found little of the coffee and mocha others mention, but the tannins were smooth, round and full with a long clean finish. Polished off the whole bottle with my wife and a skirt steak grilled in a pomegranate marinade. (4+12+18+8)
Need to drink another bottle and see if my first impressions hold up.

very young. Dark purple with sour cranberry flavors and tart chalky notes. I left the remainder of the bottle in the decanter and it mellowed over the next 24 hours. This needs time and I'll keep my fingers crossed.

A really special bottle of wine. Fantastic cherry vanilla, long finish. Opened and poured - did not need to decant. I really enjoyed this wine.

Still dominated by oak. Alcohol on the finish. Not close to being ready or sliding over the edge. Check back in 2 years.
