  • Such a brilliant and clean wine for under $40. I could drink this producer every day and not get tired of it. Brambly red fruits, subtle brushy / fresh herbal notes. Really delightful stuff. Modern for sure but in no way stripped of its origins.

  • Juicy cherry, orange, violet, sage, rose, oriental spices, and dairy. Aromatically complex. Creamy texture, with silky tannins supporting the fresh fruit. Burgundian style, reminding me of Montevertine or Monteraponi. Drink now - 2032.

  • Deep dark reddish garnet in color, almost opaque. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, mulberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, herbs, spices, minerals, some tobacco & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, mulberries & cranberries with herbs, spices, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but will continue development with additional aging. A wonderful Chianti well worth seeking out.
