This is a great inexpensive white that has the complexity, body, acidity, and interest of something... 'more'. For $9 it has replaced the 2006 Burgans Albarino as my favorite cheap white wine (possibly ever). It was so good with goat cheese and figs, and on its own -- I must sound like a broken record when I say that these nice Verdejo blends all taste like the platonic ideal of a Sauvignon Blanc to me. Not so much nose (compared to the 100% Verdejo with the green label) but in the glass it is a mighty mouthful of melon, lemon, grass, and minerals. Tremendous QPR; a fantastic, versatile, summery white.

Nearly the same notes as before. Medium-light mouthfeel. Tangerines and limes on the palate with a smooth transition to the finish. Nice hint of grassiness on the finish.

Grassy aromas and lemon on the nose. Got just a hint of kerosene, almost like a Riesling. Good acidity, and a little fuller on the taste than I expected. Peaches or mangoes and an herbal component. Nice pleasant finish. For $10 a very good little wine.

Didn't get a great tasting of this since it was at a party. But both my wife and I really enjoyed it. Really nice bright fresh fruit bursting on the nose. Lots of stone fruit in the mouth - peach, apricot, pear but with some citrus. There is also something a little darker under the bright fruit. Almost like the skins, stems and seeds were pressed along with the fruit. Juicy finish. Definitely quaffable and a really good QPR.

Excellent vintage of this friendly, affordable, white staple. 80% Verdejo, 10% Viura, 10% Sauv. Blanc. Man sweat on the nose. Very Sauv.Blanc-ish. Big grapefruit. Brisk and bright with nice acidity on finish. Pair with creamy or buttery white meat and fish dishes. Very nice party wine. (D 5.5, F 6; Cent. ES)

Lemons and limes on the nose but also peaches. There are tastes of freshly mown grass on the palate. It has bright acidity but is quite viscous at the same time.

Fresh, grassy nose. Citrus (lemons, limes), with a lot of minerality. Maybe a little petrol as well? A really good bargain for $9. The wife loves it.

Reminds me of a very ripe sauvignon blanc. Tropical aromas, maybe some banana. Well-made but not my style.

Really liked this white. Reminiscent of on Oregon Pinot Gris, medium bodied, flavors of peaches and cream, but still light on it's feet.
