Tasted next to Marcassin, Aubert and Kistler. This was by far my least favorite. The aroma was pronounced honey. If I'd tasted it blind I would not have guessed chardonnay but maybe reisling or other honey-nose varietal. Flavors also had honey notes. Would not want more. The other three chardonnays were far better. Ric

Really beautiful Chardonnay. Perfectly integrated at this point. Elegant and balanced. Nose and palate develops wonderfully as it opens, with elements of pineapple, guava, vanilla, along with floral notes. Moderate acid, long finish.

Popped and poured; impressive right out of the gate. Very viscous medium yellow. The nose jumps out of the glass, with pineapple and exotic tropical fruit aromas. Snappy in the mouth, with a nice acid base to frame very forward, ripe, sexy bold tropical fruit. This is not shy, it pushes and pushes its ripe tropical aromas and flavors right at you, but somehow it all works because of the excellent backbone which prevents the wine from overwhelming fat and fruitiness. Very much the Martinelli house style. 5-13-17-9: 94/100.

My wife enjoyed most of this one. Light weight, almost cloud like. Almond, floral notes with crisp acidity. Refreshing with orchard fruit and some citrus elements. Very nice Chardonnay that I wish to revisit.

Wow! What an explosion on the nose...almost too hard to describe. Almond and honeysuckle, oak and lemon and straw. I'm an undying fan of Martinelli Chards, but this is mind-blowing. Long, viscous finish with bright acidity.

Identical to my tasting note back from May earlier this year. Not my style of Chardonnay but I can see why some may love it.

A bold new world Chardonnay with pronounced oak on the finish. A bit heavy for my palate.
