I don’t drink a lot of FL Riesling, mainly due to sourcing them on the west coast is a bit of a challenge - coupled with perhaps the best German retailer being in my back yard (Vinopolis). Anyway, this was part of my wife’s wine shipment, and was a very charming, food friendly dry Riesling. Some grassy notes with a lemony overlay refresh - clean and smart acidity. Very nice.

Lighter color. The nose shows classic aromas of lime, peach, orange blossom and a hint of petrol. This is light bodied on the palate with good concentration and very good class. The medium length finish features good acidity.

Very crisp nose: lemon, lime, slate. Some white flowers, and a hint of riper citrus as well. This is a very edgy, lacy style of riesling. Medium minus body. This feels tense right now--maybe it needs a year or two to unwind?

Tasted blind. Aromas of apple, pear, mineral and slate. Flavors of apple, slate and mineral. Ends with a 15-20 second finish with mineral notes. I guessed a Pinot Blanc from Germany. Tied for second place.

Stone and Lemon on the nose. Mid acidity, dry, light fruit - more citrus. Medium finish. Compared to the Hermann Wiemer Dry Riesling. This had a little less acidity and a little less fruit. Both wines were well made and fun to drink.

Showing its age, not in a good way. Better to drink fresher.

This bottle was more sharp than usual. It softened after 20 mins being open.

Loved it. It is dry but the fruit can convince an otherwise sweeter Riesling drinker that it is great under the right circumstances.

Nothing not to like, but nothing special. Good quaffing wine with a touch of residual sugar.

Very nice but still could use aging in cellar.
