Poured from half. Lovely nose, ethereal, expressive. On the palate - that ethereality is there, definitely a villages wine but lovely for it. Is the window for these closing? I have a sense that this may be a little less ready than previous ones, but still jolly nice now.

Friday Night Movie Night; 1/13/2023-1/15/2023: Served from half. More purity, less obvious oak than the wine that went before it. Nice acidity, a kind of sour ribena taste to it. I have a sense that with the 19s, we’re near the end of the window for early drinking, so get ‘em down or leave for a few years.

Served from half. Very pleasant - 5 years ago this would be weirdly turbocharged for a villages Burg but this is definitely a wine of its time. Some savouriness there but it's lurking underneath a barrage of black fruits. This is a lovely wine, if a little simple, but not sure it scratches the Burgundy itch.
