Drank the second half of a Coravined bottle, a bit hollow, medium body, complex flavors, not like the last bottle, just shows how we react to wines on different days, drank with NZ loin lamb chops, spinach pie, and acorn squash with hummus, next vintage, continue to evaluate Denner wines.

Wine is as good as it gets, great fruit with tannin and acid that rocks, complex flavors, great structure, 14.4% abv but medium body and drank easily with swordfish, plantains, NJ eggplant, grilled zucchini, guacamole, roasted corn on the cob, another Denner triumph, will drink again as I think I have another bottle, will check in on Keplinger Syrah again.

Dark purple in the glass, herbaceous nose, plush black fruit on the palate giving way to savory, peppery flavors that lead into a mouthwatering, saline finish. This is some good Syrah.

well-balanced, exquisite/refined wine, medium-bodied...a little more sour with less fruit, more terroir than other syrah...usually I like that, but found myself struggling with it more. I go back and forth on each sip--sometimes I think it's amazing, other sips a little disappointing relative to the price.

exquisite and feminine, super layered and refined...medium bodied and supple...this is up there with best Syrahs I've had and hard to think of other California Syrahs that match this...dark plum, blackberry, black currant...

I love this wine. Have always loved this wine. BUT, love it more when it’s got a few years on it. This one was a little too big. Can’t wait to have my other two #humblebrag

Coravined half the bottle and drank with Keplinger Fuego y Mar 2018, very different wines 100% Syrah v 97% Syrah, 14.4 %abv v 14,8% abv, the Denner is tart, good fruit, needs some time, lots of flavors but it did not compare to the Keplinger which has a purity of fruit that is unreal, fascinating to drink side by side, will drink again, drank with baked oysters, NJ baby back ribs and potato salad.
Walla Walla Syrah Festival: Wine Panel Presentation (Marcus Whitman Hotel): Wine 4 at the Tasting Panel of Walla Walla Syrah Festival Weekend. This wine lacked concentration for me. Sour fruit, potpourri, bramble, earth, black pepper and violets. Not a bad wine but did not stand up to the 3 Walla Walla Wines.

Wonderful wine. Rich aroma that enhances the first taste. Full berry notes that dwells on the tongue. So glad we visited the winery to discover this family of wines
Execellent nose of ripe black fruit with a balanced undertone of terroir. Syrah will soften with time this wine had cellar potential for many years to come.

Plums on the nose. Nice initial sniff.
Strong acid. It seems to overpower the tannins.
I am not sure what to think. I’ll try another bottle in a year or so.

Really enjoyed this wine. Bold, rich aroma of dark fruit matched the taste. Only the finish wants me to hold the other bottles longer.

Beautiful but young. Meaty, Syrah notes but a cool weather style with dominant Basetti & Stolo cool weather grapes. Needs time… tasted at the winery!
