Opened for 45 minutes (no decant). Mix of strawberry and dark cherry with nice bright acid. Decent depth, but not quite as much as some of the single-vineyard pinots that typically source this AVA pinot. 89-90.

Screwcap, opened 1/2 hour prior, very aromatic on the nose with red fruits and candied cherry. On the palate very bland and one dimensional with a smooth but short finish. With some time in the glass some red raspberries came through. Ok for the $28 us paid for a weekday wine.

Fruity and robust, this retains a bit of baby fat to notes of brambly dark fruit, oak, and spices. It shows nice length, tasty middle sweetness, and a dry, structured finish.

1h decant. Nose is straightforward: red fruits, char, cola, and new oak influence. Broader and intriguing on the palate. Decidedly new world, with notes of bright cranberry juice and the sense of spiced cider, dried cranberries and nutmeg on the mid, followed by weighty cooked cranberry, sous bois, and vanilla cola on the finish. Loose-knit structure driven by med acid. Drink now and for 2y. Very good to excellent 90.

Very enjoyable. Blind I would have guessed Gigondas. It has that Grenache like spicy fruit and mineral profile. Rich, but not overly ripe fruit with a mineral driven finish. Not a tainty Pinot. Would buy again.

Bright acidity, cherry cola, raspberry and fine but persistent tannins. A bit of pepper and baking spices on the finish. Great QPR.

Standard solid, medium bodied and short finish, flavors are there, very drinkable...missing some depth and complexity to be truly great
