Extreme, paint-peeling aromas of tropical fruit, lychee, spice, and clove. Overwhelming flavors of passion fruit and spice on the palate. Geez. Great example of how new world vintners can overdo a delicate style.

I did not care for this wine at all and neither did my wife. We wanted to try something different as neither of us had tried a Gewurztraminer previously and we were looking for a good pairing with Thai food. Unfortunately, we wound up pouring it down the drain. It is probably not fair to rate it as I doubt we would like any sweet wine such as Gewurztraminer. I'll chalk this one up to an experiment that failed...

Tons of apple. Mineral in the aroma, and a bit in the taste. Enough tartness to make it refreshing, but not overpowering. Tends to go bad fast with exposure to air and warmth, and shouldn't be kept around for a while opened. Each sip loses fruit and gains sourness. Before it warms up, however, it's absolutely delightful on balance. May buy again, especially at the price, if I need to pour a round for a bunch of people and not have leftovers.

Pale straw in colour with lovely, crisp aromas of florals, honeysuckle, and flint on the nose. Light and crisp yet spicy with flavours of melon, candied apples, cinnamon, and a moderate finish with notes of spiced pears. Lovely gewurz.

Less smooth than most gewurt's I'm used to...still tasty - very much similar to a Riesling - moreso than most I've had.

Nice nose. A bit thin.

Nice floral aroma on the nose. Easy melon flavor with a hint of cinnamon. A tad sweeter on the Gewurz level, but refreshingly smooth and crisp.

Pleasant Nose, Pale Color. Creamy sweetness that lasts the entire length. (Rubber Stopper)
