Just a lovely, traditional style champagne - elegant, biscuity and super nice. Drank with neighbours on a Sat nite post dinner and they went down very well!

Deep hue, biscuit-ee and very traditional-champagne style. We opened a Gosset GR earlier in the week and this is quite reminiscent in the biscuit levels. There were 6 of us so I only got the one look in but it retained its fine bubbles well. A little drier on the pallet that then the Gosset but very nice as I think this was a little fresher and brighter tasting.

Lots of loquats, preserved lemons, orchard fruit, and brioche on the nose. The palate is crisp yet creamy, displaying youthful vigor, a tight bead, and ocean spray minerality that lingers on the savory, bottle-aged finish. Delicious but needs time.

Very dry with a little citrus and a lot of mineral elements. Could use a little more fruit in our opinion. Finishes a little bitter. Not bad but we prefer the BdB quite a bit more.
New Years day at Cousin Pudges, not much on the nose, some metal notes on the palate with yeast, bread, devoid of fruit except for some faint strawberry notes. All in all pleasant enough for the style and some soft cheese & jam would improve the notes on the palate.

Perhaps wet hay on the nose. Crisp and dry, dry entry enticing in its polite austerity and precision; iron notes are seductive, mysteriously magnetic. On opening, I don't find fruit nor yeast on display rather the balance that all well-made wines strive for. If this fits your style, Very High Quality for the price.
(My notes on the 2016 are quite different, age or vintage?)

Didn't take detailed notes. The oven broke just as I was pouring this, so I was more focused on that. But I remember thinking it was good when I came back to my glass a while later.

I'm not generally a sparkling wine fan but can confirm that, at least from our group of five who shared this bottle, it lived up to the Wine Access marketing that said this is a sparkling wine that even people who don't care for sparkling wine will enjoy.
The nose was not incredibly giving, but it made up for it in the retronasal area. Lead with fruitiness on the palate before opening into fruitiness, nuttiness, creaminess and tang all at once.

Drank very nicely, but not quite as lively as the previous bottle. Looked a bit dark to me, but not sure if that's relevant.

Decent pairing with oysters. Provided a satisfying mouthful of lemons and tangerines. It worked quite well as an opener with appetizers at a party.

Really nice. Similar to the blanc de blancs, IIRC. No detailed TN (too many people!), but I liked it and wouldn't hesitate to buy more. Excellent QPR.

Crisp lemon nose with a smooth, beguiling palate of ripe orchard fruit. Slightly creamy note, very refreshing and a great match with Thai food.
