Drank this bottle a few weeks ago and forgot to note. My last bottle of 6 and it and it was time. Since my last bottle a few years ago the color has changed from a beautiful dark pink to a more amber. The flavors and aromas were more savory. But the ripe strawberry that made this delicious was still there too.
I opened this spontaneously for a French friend who said that all Rose is bad except southern France. I told him that is mostly true but there are some exceptions, and the few good ones in the USA are a totally different style so you can’t expect a Tavel or Bandol rose when you drink them. He genuinely LOVED this wine so points for Realm. I know lots of haters for their price point for this Rose, but we have enjoyed every bottle and I look forward to trying the new release.

Deer Valley Palooza in 3 stages with Mark1npt and Agelvis; 6/25/2023-7/1/2023 (8,100 ft): We drank this over several days and it did the job. Beautiful salmon color, fresh strawberries on the nose and palate. Still good but losing some of its freshness. I have one bottle left and we will be sure to finish it this summer. Bottle donated to Mark1npt for candle making! Let him know if you need wine candles, they are great reminders of fun bottles.

I am not one for rose wine, but this one was pretty good. Great hints of citrus fruit but without the high acidity. I was surprised by the legs it had, and was a little viscous. this comes up next to the Ridge rose I had. I will be happy to drink my other two bottles. Well done Ream!

My younger daughter came from CT to visit and while we were getting dinner ready she wanted me to open a bottle. We drank half Friday night and half Saturday. This bottle was a lot better than when I tried it last Fathers Day. With a palate of rose petals and light strawberry it was much more enjoyable. Again I am not a fan of Rose wines but I am sure that there are many many people in Trackerland who would love this wine.

I decided ro open this Rosé as a kickoff to Realm's release tomorrow of the remaining 2019s.
Purchased directly form the winery
Double Decanted and consumed over 4 hours out of a Grassl Liberte at 55 degrees. Paired with tuna and salmon sashimi.
The wine is the product of the 2020 Wildfires. Realm decided not to bottle any of their reds but instead they experimented with making this Rosé made up of mostly Merlot and a little Cabernet Sauvignon from their two Estate vineyards, Farella and Moonracer.
The color is a light salmon with a pink hue. The aromas are of fresh cut flowers. The palate is of citrus fruit, hints of red fruits (i.e. strawberry) and some minerality. There is a slight creaminess to the mouthfeel. Medium minus acidity. It is smooth and well balanced. It resembled more of a Rhone style Rosé than a Pinot Noir based Rosé.
The wine is fresh and paired very well with sashimi. This was my second bottle and it drank much better at 55 degrees than it did when it was chilled in the 40s.
This wine will be best enjoyed over the next 2-3 years, as I'm not sure how it will age.
My score is 93+. It's a very enjoyable Rosé!

Gifted this bottle by Jen, and we're not really Rose people. I gave it a 92. Carol wanted to give it a 94! I must say, the delicate strawberry here is just wonderful. The most amazing color in the glass, completely gold colored, except for the light peach/watermelon rim extending 1/2 inch into the center of the glass and some faint watermelon on the palate. I simply have never had a Rose comparable to this experience. Ok, I'm upping my score to 93. Ty so much for this wonderful treat, Jen....I owe you!
Certainly with more flavor and nuanced depth than your average store bought rose but I think the constraint of the varietal / wine type really limits the winemaker skill here. In short, a nice wine but almost not up to snuff for the Realm label in my honest opinion.

Lovely and refreshing rose. Rose petals and strawberry with a good acidity. A European-style Rose, which I liked, but it didn't really wow me. Perhaps I had expected a more US touch to the wine. However, on a warm day it is really refreshing and lovely to drink. But, it never gets any real complexity.

Pop and pour. In the glass, clear, extremely pale pinkish-copper; not at all what I was expecting given the merlot and cab. On the nose, unripe peach and cantaloupe. On the palate, crisp, clean, and tangy, with elements of tart strawberry, peach, and melon, and robust acidity on the midpalate and finish. At least to my palate, pretty much exactly what you'd expect if I told you "rosé".

Shows just the slightest tint of blush color. In a word- lovely- with notes of strawberry and melon, mineral and rose petal. The palate follows the bouquet. Bright underlying acidity. 92+ pts. (P&R)

Well we were having our usual contingent of about 15 people over for Fathers Day. White wine and rose on the patio followed by the grand buffet at my club. I decided this year to taste all the wines before anyone got here as I am sure by the end of the evening they will all taste like Dr. Brown's Cream soda. You can tell I am originally from NYC. I am not sure how to rate this as I very rarely drink Rose. I think the last time was in a hillside villa at brunch in Provence. It is easy drinking kind of like a very very light pinot noir. It was enjoyable. It is overpriced and I never say that about Realm wines. The quality paled in comparison the Fidelio we had also opened. Then again I am not Rose fan so please take that into consideration.

Very creamy and understated, sneaky good. Agree with SHAY's note especially the strawberry cream observation. This reminded me of a Domaine Tempier Rose' but more interesting with better mouth feel (more dense and creamy) and better fruit flavors. This is complex and silky on the palate with notes of apricot and cantaloupe. We didn't get the citrus or crisp acidity the Winery and CT folks mention. This is far beyond your run-of-the-mill $15-20 Rose' that relies on over-the-top fruit flavors and acid and needs refrigerator temp to show its' best. This Rose', as others have mentioned, is better somewhere between fridg and room temp. The Syrah glass was best for this. It was a tad flat out of the New World Pinot/Rose' glass. We love the more affordable, crisp, fruity, drink-it-cold Rose's but felt like we got our money's worth from Realm with this bottle.

Easy to trust Realm’s offerings as quality is always at a premium. I have to admit, my brain had a hard time connecting this type of rosé with Realm (based on their typical style).
My comment above isn’t meant to be good or bad, it’s just amazing that this Provençal type rosé could come from a bigger/powerful style Napa producer like Realm. Kudos to Benoit for knowing what he was going for and being able to create something (a beautiful rosé) from almost nothing (the extremely uneven 2020 vintage). I don’t think I could have called this rosé of merlot if I didn’t know beforehand. To me, this was a blend of high end Provençal rosé with Cayuse’s Edith rosé. Extremely pale salmon color in the glass with aromas of cantaloupe, white peach, faint dragon fruit and an herbal/mineral stony character. The palate here has nice gravitas and a surprising bite at the finish. Strawberry cream-lite, underripe kiwi and some nectarine on the finish. Much more enjoyable at cellar temp compared to being too cold. Don’t think this is one to hold, so enjoy now.

I tried at refrigerator temp- will try cellar temp as suggested by others - this price point of ~$60 is fair If the comparison is to best from cotes de provence eg chat. D’esclans (~$90) and the best from bandol- like domaine tempier etc- ($55) -it’s in that range for quality -if you want you can do better for QOR but this was crisp, refreshing, with some strawberry, kiwi flavors. Im glad I bought some from Realm and would try again

Though this is probably the most expensive Rose I've purchased, it did live up to the Realm name. Crisp, but with body. Strawberry and watermelon come to mind, some light florals. Very enjoyable as it came up from cellar temperature (54 degrees). I did try one bottle in the fridge for an hour, and while refreshing, I think serving/drinking at cellar temperature allows all the flavors to come out. For me, it's a like a cross between a Bedrock Rose, and Domaine Tempier. If they release this again, I'll be buying.
Was a little hesitant on pulling the trigger on this new Rosé from Realm, given the price point, but now I’m thrilled that we have two more bottles. This was an absolutely fabulous Rosé. Made from 90% Merlot and 10% Cab), this is not Saignée (ie. it’s not run off). Very light in color and Provence in style, the bottle did not last long! Very easy drinking. We will buy again, if they decide to make more.
Very sad that so many wineries lost their 2020 vintage - Realm delivers an amazing Rose from picking early so they could deliver a great wine - highly recommend if you can find it. Apricot and peach, light and crisp

We really enjoyed this wine, to the point that we opened a second bottle despite other wines patiently waiting for us in the decanter. Beautiful color, more pale and salmon toned than expected (although I really had no expectations for a Realm rose). This was crisp and refreshing with lovely strawberry and water melon flavors. This has not had the best reviews here but if you ignore the brand and the price expectations it is fantastic. I would buy a few more, even at $60.
This fresh but understated Rose is dancing in the space between subtle and boring, with the results yet to be determined. I am a fan of Realm - but not of rose - so this note is worth what you paid for it. Light pink in color; medium in body; aromas of strawberry water and rose petals. Flavors of dried raspberry and watermelon spritz, with a light finish. Blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. 13.9% alcohol.
Awesome dragon label aside, how good is the fluid inside the bottle? Right now, this Rose is decent but kind of forgettable - an issue at the $65 mark. I'm rooting for these guys (and have been from the Juan era), but this wine is not currently in full bloom. There is nothing flawed (smoky or otherwise), but it doesn’t seem quite formed yet, either. To quote the former lead singer of Wham! (exclamation point in the original), I've got the... well, you know... I hope so. Wait a little bit to open this wine, and enjoy the label in the meantime. (NB: Better in June.)

Mostly Merlot and a small amount of Cabernet picked 2 weeks earlier than usual due to risk of smoke. Pale Salmon color with nose resembling Sauvignon Blanc at first but less grassy, juicy tart fruit entry due to well balanced acidity, with minimal bite from youthfulness, good midpalate weight and refreshing finish, begs for endless re-tasting, will be a super summer refresher.

Pale pink in color; crisp, decent acidity, no trace of smoke - very enjoyable.
