Solid Priorat. Opened quickly after a short decant to remove sediment. Red plums, mulled wine, and charcoal in the glass. Cranberry sauce, ripe red plums, and a menthol/smoke note in the mouth. Has lost some edginess and verve but still hanging together nicely. Drink now or soon.

Far better than my previous bottle. Still plenty of acid, but balanced with fruit dominated by dark cherry and none of the earlier off notes. Excellent with a pork roast.

Barnyard on the nose blows off with time. Not an attractive wine, fruit and tannins were both in the background letting acids steal the show. Hopefully just an off bottle, I'll try another in a few months.

Grenach-Carignan-Cabernet blend (50%/40%/10%), on the nose ripe black cherries, violets, raspberry, hints of vanilla, the palate is consistent with the nose, oak is present but not in a disturbing manner, sour tones, light spiciness, some mint, flavours of violet get stronger with time is the glass, fruit, tannins and acidity are in good balance, an attractive approachable Priorat which is drinking very nicely now.

Wow, this is really in a sweet spot. I pulled it from the bin without really thinking about it, popped and it sat for an hour while prepping dinner. In the glass its a deeeeep violet with flecks of garnet, thick legs, very subtle visual signs of aging on the brim though 15 ain't really that old either. The nose has a lot going on. There's the lots of red fruit, dark cherries the most prominent; vanilla; then there's some kinda spice that's woven in between that really just integrates it all, a slight menthol characteristic, a brambly-kinda-wildness going on too underneath. There's layers; I can inhale this for days though I know I am not going to be that patient. The mouthfeel is so much lighter than you'd think and still hits with some power and very smooth on the overall delivery. Front is black cherry and vanilla, good concentration of raspberry on the middle, something good from the spice rack thrown in there, moderate tannins, sweet; acidity is moderate as well, smooth; its got depth and its going to evolve more. the finish is long and you get the core fruit, some bitter cocoa, all riding on lush tannins.

A terrific blend of fruit and earth that did not require anything but open and pour; there were enough drinkers here tonight that a second taste was impossible;wish there was more in the cellar

Not terribly complex, but terribly delicious. Dark fruit and smooth tannins, with a bit of acidity and chocolate on the finish. Not seamless, but smooth and very good value.

First problem, while I'm not really sure what a priorat is supposed to taste like, this is not like any priorat I've had. This was fine for an inexpensive wine, but was totally un priorat-like. Definitely improved with air. Initial nose was cotton candy. Very sweet and sugary. After time, the nose actually gets quite pleasant, earthy, a little meat, faint oak, dirt and must, a faint, faint touch of barn. The palate is too sweet, too thin, too short, and unsatisfying.

This was a beautiful bottle of wine. It balanced a very pretty, feminine nose with a big mouthfeel and taste. The nose smelled of rose petals, lavender, and cherry jolly ranchers. Taste was a good balance of red fruits and light spices. Fun wine.

this was a beautiful priorat- all raspberry, blueberry, cherry, nectarine, tar, mocha and very nicely integrated sweet tannins that helped the long finish. the wine has a certain savory herb character that makes it more than just interesting. drinking wonderfully now, it will age for a while for sure. i'd love to try the planots but haven't found it. this was darn good.

Really nice to see development of this wine. Starting to show secondary aromas, but still holds a strong fruit core.

I used an aerator into a decanter. Over an hour, it opened up much better. Aroma of dark cherry and strawberry. Lots of complexity.

Mellow. Good secondary flavors. Still a little rustic edge that is fantastic. Lively and enjoyable.

Dark color. Smooth, good fruit, balanced and delicious. In a good state right now. Opened for two hours beforehand without decanting.

Consistently nice, only a slight metallic element prevents it from a slightly higher score.

A very nice priorat. Really shines with ample air, big red fruit, big tannic finish. Slight metallic element, but not too off-putting.
