Opened at room temp. Pear-like estery aroma, with lemon oil, spearmint, and fleeting briny, marine funk. Similar flavors - juicy, cool, lean fruit, with good saline and limestone-like minerality and decent acidity. Refreshing, fun, characterful wine, and like all things Pépière an excellent value.

Sehr helles Gelb mit grünlichen Reflexen, Bukett Bukett subtil nach Zitrusfrüchten, leichter Hefeton, am Gaumen stoffig, schlanker Körper, leicht mineralisch, wenig Frucht, schöner sommerlicher Durstlöscher incl. Seafood und Salaten.

Super bon !

A fair wine but disappointing versus my expectations based on other Muscadet's I've had. High acidity. Dry. Low alcohol. Typically, mineral focused but not really much else going on to get excited about. With two bottles left, we'll probably drink with unsophisticated guests or when we want a simple glass of an ordinary white.

A white which would have only been about 3.3 stars if it was enjoyed on its own, but a really good pairing with Chinese seafood especially a high quality steamed Soon Hock (Marble Goby) fish.
Light citrus nose, developing minerality and interesting light saline finish. Sur Lie aging adds complexity too.
Melon de Bourgogne or Melon is a variety of white grape grown in the Loire Valley (coast of Brittany), and is best known through its use in Muscadets. Enjoyed with PQE at Regent in Mont Kiara, delightful!

The earliest harvest of the modern era, with low sugars and ABV just under 12%. Aromatic and floral. Rich, green-fruit compote bears sharp sensations of lemon peel and salt. It’s nervous, bright, and filled with vegetative energy. A mouthful shows aspirated transparency of flavor. I do sense an <12% lightness here, as translucent sheets of whispering fabric. A dry, meaty texture of fresh almonds and chalk meal fill a glossy, shapely liquid. This is before it gently breaks open to reveal bitter stone—in a rain shower. A pale lick of lemon, lime, and calcium finishes it. I’ve been drinking this cuvée steadily for 20+ years and I can’t recall one quite like this.

Verdict is still out on the 2020 Muscadet vintage for me. This showed noticeable sweetness upon first taste, though that perception diminished as over the course of two glasses. I liked it enough but I will try the Briords to make a better assessment before deciding whether to buy more.

Good combination of mouth watering acidity, refreshing minerality, and smooth mouth feel, with restrained fruit and herbal notes. A good dinner wine with a kale tuna salad. I liked the 2019 vintage and this one is good too.

So lively and fresh, bursting with yellow fruit aromas and flavours. The palate is bright, with saline minerality and a sprig of mint. It is a lovely, thirst-quenching dry white of zero pretense and maximum enjoyment.

Light hay color. Citrus nose. Dry, bright acidity, green apple and lemon on palate. Light body. Ok balance (sharp). Short finish.

Touch citrus, dry, classic, a bit too normal, slaine, light, easy, not bad. At winery
