Elegant nose with lavender, stewed black cherries, and pumpkin spices. There is a silky mouth feel with mellowed acidity and Just enough tannins to grip the palate releasing ripe cherries, lime stone, strawberry, and pie crust, with a medium finish.

Opened and poured into a glass for 1 hour before drinking. Good nose of red fruits. Still with a bit of a tannic bite. Clearly has filled out in the mid palate. With pork tenderloin. Very good. May get better but seems at or near peak.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of berries, cherries and a hint of leather. Flavors of berries, raspberries and cherries. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now with some air or continue to hold.

The color is clear garnet, translucent, and somewhat brilliant but well colored. The smells jumped from the bottle on the pour. The smells are tarry, rose, cherry, red licorice, vanilla, and spices. The tastes are cherry, vanilla, spice, tea, raspberry, earth, and olive. The finish is nice and juicy and the tannins are satin textured.

Darker ruby red. This was aerated over the evening in glasses. The nose was pretty stubborn for a short time, but eventually opened to show spiced red fruit and some orange zest. Medium bodied, this opened up in a more ethereal sense than one in which it gained weight. The first sips were pure fruit with some oak/spice accents, over the evening some darker more brooding elements as well as some savory elements added complexity. The acid is the backbone here and this has a long life ahead, as this is very bright and tart, and on the whole, still quite reserved. Tannins are present, but not intrusive. The finish is a bit brooding.

Similar to previous notes but more evolved. Tannic bit less, red fruits dominant. Delicious and at peak

Subtle, light and fruity. Where am I, Carneros? But wonderfully elegant and great paired with this coq au vin.

Expected a bit more but a very good effort. Opened up over the course of an hour. A bit thin at first but better and better. Not sure QPR is there.

Pop and pour. Over the last four years, this has filled out and gained more depth. Palate is all black fruit with plum dominating.

Nice enough pinot with full fruit flavors and little tannin dryness. A loved it, while I liked it.

Open for 2 hours. Never really opened up. Not flawed, but certainly not the wine I remember.

I found this too lean. Seemed ok on the nose but too tight on the pallet. Not much finish.

Good, lean, cherry fruit and very prominent funky forrest floor flavors. Also has great acidity and some sort of orange citrus undertones.

Wine, the antidote to jackasses (The Bridge of death): Cherry and forest floor on the nose, with with spice and dirt at the end. Juicy on the palate, with lots of cherry and earth, and good spicy finish.
