Med+ to pronounced blackberry cobbler, ripe red cherry, black plum jam, canned peaches, sweet baking spice from 16 mos. in part new American Oak. Dry, but very fruit forward, with med acidity and tannins and sneakily high alcohol (16% but seems lower). Surprisingly well balanced, with med+ flavor intensity and length, w/ a pleasant licorice and mulled spice note on the finish. Drinking well now w/ some upside potential w/ further aging.

Great Zin
Great price point.
Fruit, but not overly fruity. And with some pepper on the finish.
