  • 100% Chardonnay

Medium golden color, clear and youthful. No sediment.

Complex nose of granny smith apple, wax, honeycomb, Christmas pudding spices, white flowers, and white pepper.

Palate is dense yet approachable. Medium body, medium plus acidity, dry. Palate is to me the star of the show at this stage of evolution. Apple, Asian pear, peach, nectarine, with gun powder, garden spices, minerality, seaweed, granite, beewax. Lengthy finish.

Superb young bottling of Vaudesir. I had trepidation about opening this too young but only after a moment, it's singing beautifully. Definitely better with age but no harm in trying now. 92+

  • Wildman Grand Tour (RPM - Chicago IL): Walkaround tasting. Rich apple and pear with good depth and density, already very good balance. God length, ending with a mineral crunch.

  • Still very young and frankly at this stage we should have decanted.
Bright and mineral, signature flint and soft limey edge. Very well made but just a bit young at this stage. 92 for now but with a promising future.
