Restaurant purchase. Very tasty if not screaming Gevrey for me. Fresh and red berry fruit with a hint of citrus peel and very floral. Much lighter and fresher than several other 2020 Gevreys I’ve had but in a good vein. I enjoyed this very much though I’m not sure I could have called it Gevrey blind. Still quite enjoyable.

Tasting at Domaine Louis Jadot w/ Frederic: Classic meaty black cherry aromas. Good ripeness of fruit combined with juicy acidity, with Gevrey meatiness showing through. 88-90

The wine has both fruit and acidity that gives it a good balance. It is a bit jammy/warm but it is still a good wine

잘익은 과실향과 신맛이 잘 어우러져 굉장히 풍성하고 기분좋은 느낌. 쥬브레상베르뗑의 다른 와인들도 궁금

Wow, this is a very round and Jammy burgundy. Lacks the lean and piercing acidity and precision even for a young burgundy. Not my style .

Wednesday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Louis Jadot, Faiveley, and Bernard Moreau (Cote d'Or): Tasted at Jadot. Ripe black cherry comes across as slightly jammy right now. The start could easily be mistaken for something "new world" in its style, but the minerally finish is clearly classically Burgundy. Good Village level wine for early pleasure.
