Clear dark garnet. Clean typical Chianti nose of cherries, sour cherries, tea as well as some other non descript herbs. Palate mirrors the nose with a herbal edge that is great with food. Medium - body, medium fine grained tannins, medium + acidity, good length. Balanced and smooth. Very good.

surprisingly medium to heavy mouthfeel, lots of darker fruit, herbal hints on midpalate with air, and licorice/pepper finish - not your typical chianti, but very enjoyable for everyday wine and great price

Garnet. Red cherries, vanilla and some tomato. Mid-bodied and balanced with intense, fine-grained tanins, good fruit, high acidity and a long aftertaste. A solid cc.

Old World. Dark rustic blackberries. Dried dark fruit. Dark gravel after a storm. Charcoal. Medium bodied. Moderate tannins, moderate acidity. Fine wine. Nothing too special. Not a whole lot of fruit. But enjoyable. Mild mannered. Cinnamon on the palate. The finish is somewhat short, but nothing about this wine is too flamboyant. Again, Old World in style.

Drank with chicken parmigiana and wine is very good. This is the second bottle i have had and both were very consistent and full flavored.

Rustic, nearly harsh, lacked fruitiness and grace. Would not buy again, at any price.

Light red, medium nose and aftertaste, some fruits, nice drinking wine. Ok.
