1st of 4. The first sip upon popping the cork was by far the best. I got a sense of what this will be before it shutdown. I then decanted for 1 hour which was not enough. This would benefit from as long of a decant as you can at this point. Anyways, the potential is superb. A ton of well judged fruit leads into a well balanced wine with a muted finish at this point. The dry extract dissipated throughout the evening. Probably 6-8 years out from its prime and then it should drink well for another 5-10 years. Revisit 2028

Restaurant purchase; bright red fruit and floral notes on pop and pour with developing spice and black tea with air. Good balance and density for a village wine. Avoids the excesses of the vintage and should develop nicely.
