Smelled like Apples right off the bat... Shamefully, the best taste was the final sip (happens a lot I guess) For further bottles, a half hour in a decanter is highly recommended.

This is the first white wine I've had from Priorat, an old vines Grenache that's as good as it is unusual. Light brown in color, with hints of pink when turned the light. Slightly floral, white apricot, mineral and spice on the nose. Slatey and dry with a moderate gripping finish.

PTA Wine Tasting; 6/14/2008-6/15/2008 (Our House - Minnesota): Would score this around 87pts, but the decline is my fault so I can't blame the wine. More specifically, this wine comes with a light effervescence that contributes significantly to its charm. This time around, I opened the bottle a few hours early in preparation for a party. By the time we got around to tasting it....fizz gone, along with much of its charm. Note to self....pop/pour the remaining bottles.

G. would rate this even higher, as it's become her favorite wine of the season. Peach/pear on both nose/palate. Lively and crisp, with an effervescent mouthfeel.

Hints of pink in color. Fruity nose and palate, with pear and peach being the most obvious elements. Good acidity and body, without being overly rich. A good summer wine.

A well structured white with a robust, sherry like center surrounded by "Sweet" yellow fuits and crisp acidity. Delicious

Spanish Tasting (Fine's Cellar, Scottsdale): Very pretty tropical fruit nose. Very floral. Tastes of melon and limestone. Good finish.

Very different taste. 100 yr old vines grown in black granite. Floral/honey suckle aroma. Mineral, anise, licorice with long finish.
