Color is medium garnet. Green tobacco is on the nose, and mouth has ripe plum, currant, and tobacco leaf, with the latter predominating on the finish. The finish was satisfyingly long.

Popped and decanted (only lost about a tablespoon to sediment). The depth of color is starting to fade on this wine, though there isn't any bricking per se. Really well integrated and complex aromas and flavors. Which on one hand limit the descriptors that I can utilize and on the other hand provide a truly enjoyable drinking experience. The tannin on the back palate was still a bit sharp and aggressive. Nice medium length finish. Would purchase again.

Lovely bottle - bought a while ago and somewhat forgotten about - had to add to the list when I found it.
Lighter in colour than expected, but does not lack for flavour. Intense bing cherry nose, lovely crisp acidity and smooth sweet red and blackcherry fruit on the palate. beautifully balanced with a lovely long finish. Maybe a little light in texture, but not in flavour, great finish.

Nice wine, nose of black currant. Pleasant to drink, good flavor of black cherries and pepper. Medium finish, but not terribly complex. I would happily drink again, but wouldn't go out of my way to find it.

Taste at Elysian. A little spicy menthol action. Inky purple and blue fruit. Gripping dusty tannins. Good, but not fantastic. A little austerity in the finish.

This opened up nicely after about an hour. It's clearly on the early side of the drinking window. Once it opened up, the finish was a delicious, smooth, long-lasting supple experience that shows me a few more years in the bottle and this will be exploding on the midpalate.

Popped & poured - setting was not condusive to taking tasting notes. Recall muted nose in 1st 30-45 minutes with deep rich black fruit, spice, coccoa & soft oak on palate. Recommend opening this & not touching it for an hour in the decanter as the palate rounded out & became much more complex with time. Really started to enjoy it later, but it was gone after 2 hours. 87/88 in the 1st hour improving to 91/92 in 2nd hour.

The color of a dark red brick. Nose of cherry and plums. Medium bodied and lean. Cola, rose hips, and dark dusty cherry taste. Lingering pepper finish. Glad I have another bottle as my expectation is that the wine will be better in a few years.

Very nice. Just enough cab added to give the merlot a nice edge.

Much better than before. Nice leathery tones on the midpalate with some earthy fruit on the finish.
