Enjoyed with a good friend over a charcuterie board. High toned red fruit, cherry, strawberry, touch of sweet vanilla and oak. Burghounds need not apply. This is for the new world palate.

A friend brought this to dinner, a very pleasant surprise. The wine is drinkable right from opening -- leafy, dark-fruited, with moderate acidity and no sweetness, and none of the cherry cola flavor that can appear in California Pinot Noir. My wife is not a Pinot Noir fan and was unconvinced, but I found it quite delicious.

An excellent PN with notes of cherry, raspberry, hint of earth and spice. Very well balanced with satisfying finish. Paired with grilled salmon with a miso glaze.

Conclusion
Quality with Respect to Price: Kosta Browne is known for producing high-quality Pinot Noir and this 2020 Sonoma Coast edition is no exception. It offers good value for its price, especially for those who appreciate the finesse and depth of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
Maturity with Respect to Ageing: This wine, while accessible in its youth for its fruit-forward charm, also has the potential to develop further nuances with additional cellaring. It could evolve beautifully over the next 5-7 years.
Food and Wine Pairing: Ideal with dishes that complement its earthy and fruity profiles, such as roasted duck, grilled salmon, or mushroom risotto. The wine's complexity also allows it to pair well with lightly spiced dishes.

Good KB pinot but not spectacular. A little acidic at first but then smooths out.

Bright ruby color with slow legs. Cedar, cherry and light oak on the nose. Raspberry cola, vanilla and cocoa on the palate. Long satin like finish.
