  • Decent braising wine--good QPR (especially if you can get it on sale sub $10 as I did). I got this to cook with because I can't bring myself to cook with something I really want to drink! It was a bit of a nostalgia kick as well because I used to drink a fair amount of Parducci when I was younger and I wanted to see what I'd think today. Wasn't impressed. I made braised beef cheeks and then used the remainder of the bottle for some Tinto Verano. It worked better for that than I thought it would. Tasting-wise, about what you would expect. Black fruit, not much structure or body, inoffensive and unremarkable.
