  Value Mendocino, Calif., 2020 Parducci Petite Sirah Small Lot ($15). Dark garnet, viscous (15.0 alc.); ripe grape, black fruit, pepper, metallic nose; mid acids; mid-full tannins; round, ripe, bigger style; long semi-hot finish. BBQ and burger wine. 15.5 UC Davis scale, 89 other scales.

I made braised beef cheeks and then used the remainder of the bottle for some Tinto Verano. It worked better for that than I thought it would. Tasting-wise, about what you would expect. Black fruit, not much structure or body, inoffensive and unremarkable.
