Big berry nose. Strong tannins, but not overly harsh or acidic. Dark berry, smoke, and cloves on the palate. Nice, chewy texture and smooth finish. Would definitely buy again at this price.

Cellartracker Over the Hill and In the Woods Party (Judith's House): You could maybe have drank this if you had to, but all that was left was alcohol shrouded in spice. This was long since gone.

Not as good as the 2005. Some jam up front but disapates quickly with little structure and a short finish....may have waited too long to open

First impressions are a little simple, but it opens up after a few minutes to be a very good effort.

Good Zin for everyday drinking. Nothing too complex -- the standard fruit and spice.

First impression is of alcoholic prune juice, but it more or less resolves into zinfandel over time. Prety sweet.

Some nice tannins, not overly fruity -- not entirely satisfying, but interesting. Would consider buying again.

rosenblum tasting (binny's highland park): nose: asian spice, earth, dark cherry, and dusty notes
taste: a good amount of asian spice and dark cherry. Has tight tannins that are very chewy
overall: big mouth with nice chewy tannins. Leaves a good solid finish
