Medium-deep bright garnet in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & mulberries with overtones of floral, spice & earthy/dusty notes, herbs, minerals & a slight hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, mulberries & cranberries with spices, minerals, herbs & a slight hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the potential to continue developing with further aging. This vintage appears to be more accessible than the previous vintage.

What a sexy wine. Nose has menthol, little fruit components and grapefruit/licorice smell. The middle of the wine seemed light/aqueous however the attack and finale won praise. Need 2 or 3 years probably but already better than many village burgundy example in the same price range.

Purchased at the restaurant, Limoncello, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The wine was paired with a stuffed artichoke and a crispy 1/2 duck.
The aromas are of red fruits and spice. The palate is of ripe red fruits, such as cherries, strawberries and cranberries. There is a good streak of allspice but the wine at this early stage is very fruit forward. There is medium to medium(+) acidity with minimal tannins. This wine appears the be intended to drink sooner rather than later. The wine was lacking in depth. It's a nice, easy drinking, wine but I don't see it improving much with extended cellar time. It's a decent restaurant purchase or a nice wine to drink now while waiting on your other Kistler pinots to age.

Straightforward and not as exciting or nuanced as other Kistled pinots I have had. Enjoyable but not memorable. Drank over 4 hours.

Straightforward with a more fruity profile. Second time with this one, it was a hit at a work dinner

Bright, fruit forward, med+ acidity, probably not a long time cellar worthy wine but curious to try for a few more years of age
