Very spicy. Fruit of red berries and especially pomegranate. Undertones of aromatic herbs such as eucalyptus, and mint. Black peppercorns as well. Structure could use improvement.

Meh. First Priorat, I can taste what it could be, red currant, smooth silky texture, cherry nose, long leg.
But there’s a tannic pinch that stays there even after a decant in carafe for 4 hours. Something that makes it just a little bit annoying and overwhelmed the refinement of the wine.
I will try an other Priorat, but not this one

Clear, med+ intensity, dark purple with whiteish pink rim, sporadic fast-moving tears Clean, med+ intensity, aromas of blackcurrants, mulberries and blackberries, anise, beef gravy dregs, malty almost medicinal. Dry, med body, med tannins, med acidity, full alcohol, with further tastes of cooked plums, damsons, dates, a sugary Worcestershire, beef stew, and cooked tomatoes. Good balance, complexity and reasonable finish. Not bad for a Priorat, and like many others needs a few hours to open up.

Enjoyed this one, especially after the bottle was open for a few hours and the fruits blossomed. Great value wine. Blackberry, oak, earthy, minerals, licorice. Definitely need to return more often to Priorat.

A family favorite - pop N pour - with great value for the price. One of our fave table wines that pairs with almost anything.

Pkeasant flavor, not a robust texture but certainly a good wine
