  • It's young, but unlike 2019, I think still good enough now. Obviously it's a wine that will get better and better over time. I always feel it, but this wine is not expensive for the price, so I'm very satisfied. There are not many wines that show this kind of performance at this price.
It's 100 times better to drink this wine with the money to drink the ridiculous price of a new Bourgogne wine or the ridiculous price of Bourgogne Natural wine.

  • This is drinking very well already. In most vintages I favor leaving it be for at least a few years. There is really nothing tight or undeveloped about it today. Very nice strawberry and rhubarb expression in a sweet yet savory way. Hints of wood, pine, citrus and earth. Generous, expansive acidity. Focused tannin. The extraction seems mild here. It certainly doesn't look and feel all that fleshy. Very nice. Maybe not the depth of the best vintages yet likely still one of the very best Pinots from CA for the vintage. This should age at least a decade no sweat. Consistent over two nights.

  • A very very good wine. Rich with an expressive nose and many layers that unfold with time.

Raspberry rich palette, good acid and a tart fruit (bing cherry?) skin.

It is really nice right now, will probably only get better over the course of another 3-5 years.

  • Stunning on the nose, with red cherries, white flowers, orange rinds, hints of mint and and fragrant earth. Supple, sexy and suave, it's got a superior mouthfeel, deep concentration and while today it is giving off significant fruit, there is a savory element in the mid palate that indicates this will evolve nicely. While you won't mistake this for a high acid burgundy, it does show impressive balance with a long, spicy finish.
