Wow, this wine came out of nowhere. My last 3 bottles were basically "decent for the $", but this one was great. Started out with caramel and creme brulee', and in a few hours picked up some coffee and even some cherry kirsch. Good mouth feel with a much improved finish. If my last bottle is this good, I'm going hunting for more...

(at Cinghiale - Baltimore) Golden hue. Buttered eggs and not much else on the nose. Strange, sweet attack – not much after. OK at best. Not worth the money. (80)

Tight when popped. Started with yeast/toast, and as it warmed revealed some coffee and lychee (?). Decent, particularly for the price, but certainly not a knockout.

Nice in both Mimosa's and on it's own. No formal notes, but enjoyed it much more than a prosecco that was opened at roughly the same time.

Better on day 2 - decidedly not good on day 3... Very juicy, nose a little weak, but for $10 it's hard not to like.

Nice Chardonnay-like fruit and toasty bread. Good minerality; light acidity. Wonderful aperitif, especially for the money.
