  • Soy sauce, mint. Liked previous vintages but 2019 is simply terrible for felsina in general.

  • sangiovese 100% 와인. 미디움 바디, 중간 탄닌에 적당한 산도. 끼끌과 비슷한 팔렛. 가격대비 별로. 재구매의사 없음.

  • Decanted for one hour prior to tasting.

Medium garnet color, pretty nose of violets and sage.
Rich and a touch tannic. Lots of black fruit, balanced by good acidity. I’d hold off on this one until 2025 at the earliest.

  • Clear medium red. Very nice approachable nose, spicy cherry fruit, forest floor, red berry, spice and balsamic. Dry fresh cherry and spice flavours and a dry long finish.

So good at this point, nice weight and should improve. For me when it comes to Fontalloro it’s never too early or too late.

  • tasted @Vancouver International Wine Festival 2023: Another highlight tonight. Forest strawberries and red cherries here, great acidity, great tannin quality, very elegant and refreshing, well-balanced wine and quite long on the finish. This is a very pretty wine. - 92 points

  • Liked at the WS Grand Event 2023. Wow. Tasting the same wine just weeks later (after the Slow Wine Event). This time I liked it much more. No excessive acidity. Showing that beguiling green CabFranc note (none in there) that I often find from these wines.

  • Deep dark reddish-purple in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, dried herbs, minerals, tobacco & a hint of cedar in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with spices, minerals & a hint of cedar. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well with decanting & extended airing (90+ minutes) but it has potential with to develop further with additional aging at which time it could possibly rate even higher (95+).

  • Russk. Liked from Slow Wine 2023 Had all three:
'20 Berardenga ChC -- Enjoyable and refined. 90+
'19 Rancia -- My fav of the 3. This time I picked up the tobacco and CabFranc notes (none in the blend) in the Rancia. Maybe I had it wrong last time I thought it was in the Fontalloro. 91pts.
'19 Fontalloro -- A bit tart. My least fav of the 3. 90-

  • Tasted after 2019 Rancia. A bit softer and more floral, less mineral in comparison. Well balanced, good acidty, pure fruit. Fine length. 92-93+

  • Wninemaker's edition. 93 for now. This will improve immensely in time. Starts out closed, opens up slight after a few hours decant. Lovely fruitiness and gripping tannins, which I expect will ease up in due time. A splendid entrecöte companion
