Great representation of a WV Pinot. Initial nose of strawberries, that was replaced with cherry and raspberries after breathing a bit. Nice structure with moderate acidity mid pallet and a lingering finish of earth and spice.

Consumed at dinner with friends. Appearance: Clear, medium ruby. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with developing aromas of cherry, pomegranate, baking spice, and tomato leaf with hints of rose petal. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, medium tannin, medium+ intensity, medium body, 12.9% abv with developing flavors of cherry, raspberry, and herbs with a medium+ finish. An exceptional young Willamette Pinot which drank very well upon opening, though this will benefit from 3-5 years of aging.

Appreciated. What the unfiltered aspect did for the mouthfeel and notes. Overall, the strongest note was barnyard, then followed by notes of cherry and some pepper.

Beautiful wine. At Knob Hill Inn in Sun Valley. Dark and nearly opaque. Raspberries, cherries, spices on the nose. A beautiful streak of minerals and acidity. Full bodied and dense, but very well balanced. As extracted as possible without being overblown. This wine is always consistent but this vintage is quite special. Delicious.

Very dark. Very bassy. Lacking in certain high notes. Just ok.
