Pale ruby in the glass. Huge flint on the nose complemented by strawberry, blackberry & blackcurrant. Light-bodied, very balanced, soft tannins. An elegant style of Pinot that delivers at this price range. Don’t expect complexity, expect sheer drinkability. To the moon!

Like a sweet, diluted, northern Rhone Syrah. Nothing wrong with that but i was expecting something else. 89 for quality, relative expectations <89, for sure.

Pyramid Valley tasting at 67PM with Steve Smith MW. Drank in Zalto Universal. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, purplish ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of dark red cherries, ripe red cherries, dark red spices. Youthful. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe red cherries, red plum, red apples, dark red spices, touch of licorice, earthy background. Very good quality. Contrasted with the North Canterbury Pinot 2020, this is a notch more serious and reflects the Central Otago terroir well.

Plausible but not very exciting. A bit unbalanced and flabby. Meh

It is organic pinot but I am having difficulty to compare it with the Pinots from USA and France.

Tät mörkt röd för en pinot. Medel tanniner och medel+ syra. Körsbär, röda bär och en hint av strävt svart te. Mycket bra.
