Deep ruby red some purple tinges in the glass. On the nose Plum, Raspberry dried cherry. On the pallet red fruit flavors come through not very grippy but there are some tannins on the early pallet, a somewhat juicy mid pallet with medium body and low acidity. The finish is short but fruity and delicate.

brvino Wine Tasting #3 - Pinot Noir (blind) (brvino Undergraduate Wine Club at UCLA): Colour is similar to number 2. On the nose, I get my fresh-cut grass explicitly. Raspberry and a little cranberry. Rose petals, peanuts. I maybe get a little bubblegum but that might just be me looking for carbonic-macerated wine in the line up. On the palate, it’s high in acidity and flavour intensity. Feels very dry. I get red berry tea now and juice. 8-/18

Decanted; initially very light and extremely young, not particularly pleasant. Improved over the course of the evening but definitely not a serious PN. Some cherry notes, no mushroom or forest character noticed.

I have had many good bottles from Jadot but this was not among them. It had green vegetal flavours that were far from charming and lacked any burgundian attraction.

Light ruby in the glass. Cherries, rainwater, slight vanilla on the nose. Sour cherry, earth, on the palate. Not super complex, but a very nice well-made pinot noir from Burgundy at a great price.

Unfortunately this is not as good as 2020 vintage I fell in love with. This is now second place I got this from and both times it's just not a very good wine. At first I thought maybe my place I go to all the time just got a bad batch but now I know the older wine was just much better. Won't be buying this vintage again !

This Jadot Bourgogne Rouge was better than what I remember.
Fairly simple but real Pinot varietal nose. Medium body, decent tannic lick and medium + acidity. Notes of cherries, a bit of smokey bacon, some forest floor. No flaws, no fireworks, but at the price this particular bottle is a good QPR real Pinot in the UK.

On the nose: Muenster cheese, rubber, and leather. On the palate: Bracing tart cherry and lasting tannin. Leather and apple. Rich and plummy. Very long, gently soy-bitter finish.

This pours light purple in the glass with flecks of pink. The nose is of plastic, rubber, peony, perfume, violets, candied berries, and chalk. The Palate is coarse with high twangy acid, medium tannin, and an astringent short finish replaying some plastic. Not terribly enjoyable.

83 Jun 2023 👃 stemmy and red berries 👅 high acid, cherry, earthy. Too acidic for me though probably young. Maybe too expensive for what it is but not too sure about that. Well made I think. Did not pair well with anger.

That smells a little bit smoky or reductive to it. Spicy. Funny, I would say smoke taint but its not that, just reductive. 9 months in French oak. Crunchy and bright I am being told. Cote d'Or and Cote Chalonnaise, Works it out at its price. Tart and tangy on the back of the palate. A bit clipped, needing time.

Nose has a lil graphite reduction and bright cherry juice. Hey this is pretty good (for negociant presumably conventional viticulture)! Juicy fruit, high acid, a little gravelly tannin.

Disappointed in this vintage. This has been my go to budget pinot noir but this really wasn’t good, one note, almost a metallic taste. Suppose it could have been a flawed case but both bottles just weren’t up to par.

Cherry, earth, savory elements. Quite grippy, well-balanced. Just lacks some power and length. But very pleasant.

Pleasant enough red fruit with good weight for its level, but slightly more coarse than I would expect.
