Honeysuckle backed by floral and petrol nose. Slightly on the full side for this vintage but still lovely and with great length. Goldkapsel does make a difference on the balance and complexity! So comfortable to drink with Cantonese food. 16/20

NOSE: lovely aged Riesling aromatics --- in the middle between primary and fully tertiary; light-to-medium petrol. Satisfying.
BODY: light amber color; no spritz; full bodied.
TASTE: oooooh! complete; smooth; apricot/orange marmalade; 9.5% alc. not noticeable; adequate acidity does prevent it from coming across as fat, but it does not stick-out in an overtly noticeable fashion; for my preferences, this in the front end of its prime drink window, which I suspect will stay open for quite some time.

In contrast to the Weinbach Schlossberg it is more delicate and floral on the nose, more white flower and also more "chemical" petrol elements. Medium+ acidity but also a bit more residual sugar. Drinking nicely now with a lot of lemon zest. Medium aftertaste 16+/20

Medium golden colour, still look pretty young. Luscious nose backed by floral and mineral notes. Got sweetness but not overwhelmed and well balanced, with good length and complexity. Still young and got plenty of life ahead, no harm to enjoy now though. 16+/20

Whoa, that is seriously sweet, nearly the weight and texture of a Vouvray Moelleux. Very good, it is also amazingly primary. It's showing a bit of diesel and development, but not much. Hold for a long time. Don't even think about touching for five years, ten would probably be better.

This is the reserve bottling of the fabulous regular Gunderloch Auslese (which I scored 96-97)that was tasted at the WS Grand Tour recently. Otis opened this at his house on Saturday and my wife made Blueberry and raspberry crepes with vanilla ice cream and carmel. This wine is the equivalent of the regular Auslese. Mineral, pear and apricot wrapped in an elegant package with length and depth. Fabulous. I really could not detect much difference between this wine and the regular bottle and rated them the same. From a value standpoint I would say that the regular bottling which cost half the price is the way to go. 96-97 points.

Absolutely wonderful, clean, perfect amount of sweetness and richness for a dessert riesling. Just lovely. Hit at the table for everyone.

Delicious fruit and long finish. Probably drank this too young, but oh well, it was a treat.
