This has a lot of potential to get better. I think it’s starting to shut down a little. A fresh, bright and pretty example of Nebbiolo. Floral, has some spice and high acid. Tannins are fine and grippy, but brush off quick. Give it some air if you do open one.

Lovely wine, all red fruits and flowers on a lightweight frame. It's not super complex (and doesn't need to be at this price point/leve), but it's delicious and very easy to drink with the bright acids giving it a sense of refreshment and good energy.

Even better than the last time, probably because I gave it about an hour of air in the open bottle. Started out funky and earthy, then settled into a bright balance of light red fruit and steely elegance.

Pure, expressive Nebbiolo fruit - so clean and inviting with spiced raspberry, strawberry, grenadine and some darker fruit tones. A soaring perfumed character that's just wonderful. Not big or punchy, really quite delicate. A touch of raspberry sweetness on the palate with is otherwise lithe and dry. The tannins are very refined and the flavour profile turns darker and meatier on the finish. Yum!

Agreeing with some other posts. While feminine in style, it's not showing much now - even on day two. Excellent winemaker, so be patient. Needs 6-12 months to come together.

Wow, this is a real beauty. Been excited to try this producer (Barolo Girl) and it did not disappoint. Very feminine in style with big cherry on a light and elegant palate.

On night one I caught this with some freshness and youth, if not totally open and inviting. By night two this had shut down rather tight. This is a serious style of LN and I think it should improve significantly with a few years' rest.

I've been wanting to try Giulia's wines for a few years, but hadn't found any. This was the only offering a local shop had, no Barolos. I prefer Langhe nebbiolos that are made in a more serious style, rather than a quaffable drink it super young style. It seems this is made in the former style. Decanted and gave it a lot a lot of swirling over an hour or so. As I expected, but I couldn't wait to try it, still very young and tight. Should improve with time. Very nice cherry, tar, fennel/licorice, violets/roses. Will try to grab a couple more of these to hold and continue to look for some of her Barolos. Not that it matters, but great design for her label.

Piemonte: Back to the truffling!; 11/24/2022-12/3/2022 (Wineries and various restaurants): From the barrel. 2021 is a vintage Giulia was very excited about - it has both the structure of the ‘19 but also the fruit of the ‘20. This was a sneak peek into it. Juicy and bing cherry and almost a bit crunchy in that best possible way. Already tasty and it’s just a year old.

Second bottle much more closed than the first. Lighter in style but not giving up the goods tonight. I'm still intrigued by this producer.

Delicioso mesmo tao novo… belissima cor, fruta viva, tanino domado, final sedoso e longo. Imagino daqui a uns anos

Steely and elegant. The perfect start to Thanksgiving day. Paired mostly with charcuterie.

Very enjoyable, but also tight
Incredibly light feel, almost like mist in the sense that it barely has a palette hold. Cherry but astringent.
Will age well but not superb in 2023.
