  • light ruby colour and medium body. beautiful nose of raspberry and cherry perfumed with rose petals, lilacs, and a dusting of spices. still somewhat tight in the mouth, bright red currant and strawberry flavours do open up with lovely layers of sous-bois, bergamot and blood orange, all infused by a florality. structure clips the end a bit.

somewhat more open than other '21s, it still needs a bit of time for the (polished) tannins to integrate. but is is balanced and elegant and a wine with upside potential.

13.5% AbV; fully-destemmed fruit; eighteen month in oak (25-30% new, as is customary for the Domaine and 1er Crus).
