Followed over 5 hours. You definitely get a sense of the house style here, though this is obviously showing very young. Very pure fruit, good balance. Probably needs 3-5 years, but I expect this will be excellent with additional bottle age.

Ripe with a brûlée note adding to the heady raspberry and macerated strawberry aromas leading to a full palate which adds pink peppercorn and hints of marzipan to the lush red fruit. Acidity is just enough to balance the fruit, alcohol is somewhat elevated, and structure lingers softly through the finish.

Great vintage for des Tours. Perfectly ripe fruit, purity, precision. Cherry and raspberry notes, white pepper and a whiff of green/stems. Not sure if there’s whole bunch involved here. Either way, great wine.

First of 12, and this is close to a perfect version of this wine. Perfectly balanced, in full harmony, sweetness, garrigue, Grenache and actually a great drink already with ripe berries, strawberries, framboise etc. It will be great to follow this. AD loved it as well.

Beautiful floral nose, oozing with scents of framboise and kirsch. There’s a chalky note as well. Pure, focused and elegant fruit, crunchy cherry fruit, licorice and spices. There’s good structure ad precision here, good balance. Seems like the grapes have been picked at perfect maturity. Great vintage for this wine - as always.

Aboslutely stunning. Elegant red fruit driven by raspberry meets garrigue and licorice in a balanced and intense wine. It's great today, but we would wait +5 years if we had more bottles.

Opened to a beautiful nose but on the palate this was just a touch less opened compared to the 2017.

Lunch at my favourite steak place, double decanted for 2 hours, savoury & red fruits, decanting helped soften the wine, good Cdr

Quite dark, lovely nose of cherries, medium bodied, rich & powerful for a Tours Cdr

Flott lengde.
Fortjener noen år på langs.
