Better than some recent vintages. Quite acceptable for a high-volume Macon but lacking the individuality and complexity of some other examples of Macon Blanc in this general price range. The price continues to rise and I restrict myself to this wine when it is discounted. There are excellent Chardonnays from the southern hemisphere that compete whilst staying more competitively priced.

Light straw gold in the glass. There are notes of vanilla and sweet cream and a forest-floor funk at the end. Simple but sweet on the early pallet not overly concentrated. Medium acidity and medium finish a great entry-level wine. Simple flavors are well-made in a classical French style.

The wine looks straw colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon, peach, pear and honey. It tastes like grapefruit, lemon, apple, pear and honey. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

PnP. I think Oberhau and Winenerd76 nailed it: The lack of oak really brings out the essence of the fruit, and even it lacks a bit of complexity, it is plenty good, and a great value. Give this to someone who says they don't like Chardonnay, it could change their mind. 4-12-16-8: 90/100.

Very nice example of white burgundy and good value for the price; has all of the classic elements including nice minerality, just not as complex as higher priced offerings. The absence of oak brings out the fruit qualities a bit more. Heard about this on SOMM TV and definitely second the recommendation.

Light, crisp, and linear, showing notes of white stone fruit, citrus, and a charming, floral element. Good balance, brightness, and composure. Even better with food.

Medium straw color; yellow apple, pear, and lemon on the nose; medium plus acidity; tastes like lemon peel, saline, and honeydew melon with a long finish. Turns out I'm a fan of chardonnay.

Okay on night one but fell apart after a night in the fridge. A bit lean yet flabby at the same time, a contradiction of sorts.

Pale lemon in color.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity, and a soft mouthfeel.
Showing red and yellow apples with light wood, spices, limes, grapefruits and sea salt.
Medium finish with limes and almonds.
This is a tasty Chardonnay from Burgundy. Not complex, but easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
88 points.

Not as negative as last time, but still not impressed... Nice enough, but feel there are better white burgs out there at this price point.

This wine looks as a pale straw.
On the nose, pronounced lemon peal, ripe green apple, with a little green bell pepper.
On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity, and a noticeable dryness. Flavors of apple and lemon fade into a long finish.
