  • In spite of the torrid growing climate during that year the wine exhibits an excellent level of freshness and a good level of acidity in spite of vintage grapes with lower ph than usual and higher levels of alcohol. I have tried in primeur exhibition good tannin liquorice and blackcurrant.

  • Bordeaux 2022 en Primeur and some recent vintages: This wine felt rather hot and overdone, had my struggles. To be revisited.

  • Licorice, flowers, mint, peach, currants, blackberries, tobacco and wet forest floor aromatics create the nose. The palate is rich, supple, creamy, fresh, and loaded with sweet, blackberries, white pepper, plums, currants and spice. The wine is full-bodied, round, and concentrated, with a long endnote leaving you with peppery licorice, spearmint, and creme de cassis on the backend. The wine is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. 14.20% ABV. 3.7 pH. The harvest took place September 8 - September 27. Yields were 42 Hectoliters per hectare. 70% of the harvest was used to produce the Grand Vin. Drink from 2027-2055. 95-97 Pts.

  • 96 vvPunkte / Tiefdunkel, rauchig, mit Schwarzbrot, Süssholz, Tabak, Heidelbeeren, Brombeeren und Tee, ein sehr vollständiges Bouquet. Im Gaumen dicht, cremige Textur, sensationelle Frucht, feinkörninges Tannin, die Struktur hamoniert hier sehr gut mit der Frucht, der Wein zeigt Eleganz und eine sehr sehr gut Länge, endet rotfruchtig. Ausgesprochen hochwertig und einmal mehr ein Wein, der dieses Jahr mit "schwarzem Label" erscheinen wird. Great Value!
