Blind Tasting of 8 Young Oregon Pinots: My #7, Group #6. Dark, almost purple color. Some yeast on nose. Very smooth body, flavors took longer to develop. Bitter tannins on finish.

On the nose, floral, red fruits, cherry, raspberry, spice. Light in color and light in flavor. Improved with time. On the palate, red cherry, raspberry, plum, spice and subtle cedar. Soft tannins in a medium finish. Part of a larger tasting.

Tastes like bitter poor quality chocolate. Like cheap industrial alcohol-raspberry gunk.
This is truly garbage. So many better offerings at the same price, entry level Goodfellow, McKinlay, Kelley Fox, Vincent etc.
For a truly informative juxtaposition, have this next to any of the above and see the difference between beautifully made, high quality, appropriately grown and cellared fruit, vs chocolate milkshake jagged edged trash.

Very light color. Nose of red berry with the slightest hint of oak. Up front on the palate it is very acidic with cranberry, fresh raspberry and strawberry. Smooth mouthfeel. Lighter bodied but not watery and unpleasant. Delightful for the price

Susie's bottle. PnP. The prior reviewer covered it very well: sweet raspberry fruit, initially muted, some cherry and earth. And unlike the '22 Cloudline nearby, this got better and better in the glass. Still too young, but it has a future.

Opened for an hour before tasting. Sweet berry fruit on the nose but muted. Very short finish. Full frontal cherry raspberry typicals. Light on the earthy front. Little hint of sweet vanilla. Excellent value.

It’s good. I will definitely by it again. Hard to find better at the price. But it doesn’t stand up to some wines just 10-15 dollars more. I prefer Resonance or Ponzi from Willamette (as well as some California Pinots), but it really is near the top for its price.

Concentrated dark berry fruit, some sweet spice and oak, and sufficient acidity. Like most Ken Wright Willamette Valley Pinot Noir vintages, it should improve with time.

Nose of ripe strawberries, vanilla/oak, a bit of spice pushing into zin territory. Sweet strawberry on the palate. Overly sweet and one-dimensional. Medium body, med+ acid, med+ tannins, slightly rough at this stage. Reasonably long finish, cherry pit and an herbal element. This bottle seemed to have had some secondary fermentation going on.

Very solid Pinot, juicy and well built. A tad bit of zing on the back. Enough stuffing to age for 3-5 years…. A very nice example of Oregon Pinot.
