Interesting that there are no recent reviews on here but also for ma an interesting comparison with the 05 drunk a month before (and for that matter the 2010 Caillots Bourgogne Herbeux and the 06 J M Boillot Puligny Referts). This is certainly still rigorous and while the colour is full there is plenty of acidity. Indeed it may outlive the fruit. On balance not as enjoyable as the 2005.

Nice on its own. Good, lemony nose, golden color. Would have liked a little more fruit on the palate and a little more acidity; this was a little flabby - maybe it's getting a little long in the tooth ... Pretty good with King Salmon.

Beautiful golden color. Creamy and citrusy on the nose. Lemon pledge, a bit of green apple. Medium weight on the palate, not thin at all. Good acidity, very clean and elegant. Good food wine and good QPR at $30.

2006 Etienne Sauzet Puligny Montrachet Premiere Cru Tasting at Red Slate (Red Slate, Portland, Oregon): Apparently this is all Puligny Montrachet fruit that is declassified for the Borgogne Blanc. Golden apples with a dusty touch appear on the nose. The apples smell like they've been roasted a bit, and the acidity hints a bit toward grapefruit flavors. This is super clean on the palate, with light apples appearing up front, and full acid on the mid palate. It would benefit from a little more time to integrate. A hint of star fruit shows later, and a faint creamy note shows on the finish as well. Very late, some excellent grapefruit flavors make an appearance. Good fruit and complexity on a Borgogne Blanc? Bravo! 89+

A surprisingly dry and very good chardonnay based white burg enjoyed earlier tonight with Kim as part of the tasting menu with wine pairings at Michael Mina's SeaBlue at the Borgata in Atlantic City, paired really well withlobster pot pie. Too expensive to be a good QPR, despite that absolutely recommend this wine. Pale green / gold, clear, explosive bouquet, well balanced, great aftertaste - just really a well made wine. Nose sweeter then palate, explosive floral nose of peach, pear and allspice. Surprisngly dry, primary flavors consisted of minimal burnt sugar, balanced peach, cinnamon and mint with more citrusy flavors developing later on the palate.

Dinner AC Gary Rona and gang -- Pretty fresh and clean chard, decent value, a bit oaky tho (or something like oak was in there)...
