My last bottle of Domaine Weinbach bought at the winery to Colette Faller. It brought lots of memories. But the wine was flawless. Notes of lychees, honey. A great wine

Oddly enough, we also paired this with Thai green curry chicken tonight, as did the previous taster. A fantastic match.
On the nose, rich. Almost Sauterne-like. On the palate, also rich....and sweet. But balanced out nicely by a remaining acidity. In general, this seems fully resolved. I don't have a lot of experience with this wine, but for me would suggest drinking sooner than later. Seems to be at its peak now.

A much better experience this time, now that I knew to expect something sweeter than off-dry. An excellent match with a reasonably spicy Thai green curry; rich, with a good acid backbone underneath.

This wine was not off-dry but quite sweet: a dessert wine, in effect. I had expected it to be much drier, and so paired it with a mildly spicy Indian lamb dish; I'm not sure they went well together at all. In itself, the wine is good but not great -- both rich and decently structured by acidity -- and I'm reasonably disappointed. Wait on the next bottle to see if it develops.

Still a very good wine. Cork was perfect.
Physalis and honey with some honey-tones. A bit sweeter than expected.
Last bottle.
